Droitwich badgers travelled over to Evesham this week, the game started very evenly with attacks made by each team, requiring Droitwich keeper Tom Godwin to make some important saves. It was Droitwich that took the lead when Luke Smith's shot was saved, but the rebound came back for him to have another shot which this time he found the back of the net. Droitwich then won a penalty corner on the stroke of half time which Oliver Broomfield slotted home to extend the lead.
The second half was again end to end with further opportunities by Luke Smith, after good build up play by Maddie Reed and Hugo Bates. A goal in the last five minutes from the home team left it tight for the visitors, particularly when they had a penalty corner at the final whistle, but this was defended well by Adam Such and Ellie Taylor.
This weeks player of the match was Chris Brown
