1. Club Membership Form (pending updates)

JOINING US - Form not yet updated for new season (DON'T use link below)

A. Complete a form and pay the fee before end of Sept to catch the reduce rate (or normal fees applies thereafter). Preferably pay by BACS.
(NOTE - BEFORE paying you MUST get confirmation from the treasurer of any discretionary rebate you might receive from last season).
The membership form (UPDATE PENDING) can be found by new starters here on our website (DON'T USE) or our returning members can find it on our club share drive (DON'T USE) but be sure to download the form first and then save it to your local drive with your surname in the filename.

BONUS - For new senior members the price for the playing kit is indicated on the new membership form (order playing kit here) - remember to pay kit separately to your membership.

B. YOU MUST complete the membership form(s) online or print and fill in by hand and scan. Then email to secretary@dshc.org.uk (or hand back to your captain or coach or treasurer at HockeyFest Open Day on Sat 3rd Sept). The BACS payments will then be checked during the following week, and this process must all be completed by the deadlines shown on the form.
*NOTE - the PDF form can be completed online and emailed directly back to secretary@dshc.org.uk. Be sure to save the form first to your local drive with your name.
*REBATE - check with the treasurer before payment, you may be entitled to get a rebate due the disruption in L2 league fixtures last season.
**COMPULSORY - ALL Junior Members MUST also complete an Additional Junior Form and hand this in with their Membership Form.

BEWARE - Payment for Early Bird Rate needs to be received within normal banking timeframe before the date indicated on the form - and remember to pay for kit separately and promptly before league games begin.

Please read the Code of Conduct on the back (page 2).
The Code of Conduct (which applies for all Seniors/Juniors Players, Parents, Supporters etc) and other Club Welfare and Safeguarding policies can be found in the Information Section of the website.

We also provide you the option to consent or decline for photos to be used on the club website and all social media channels or in the local newspaper to promote Droitwich Spa Hockey Club through match reports and events.

DON'T FORGET

You must also action accordingly:

1) EH Participation Agreement (this only needs to be done once) :
This was a mandatory requirement from England Hockey to participate in any Hockey related activity. All the returning players have completed this already, but we encourage new players to continue do this until further notice.

2) Sign-Up ("Join") to our Club Management System via this Website to access club communications and documents etc. Plus see fixtures dates and times and indicate your availability for team selection.
"Join" the Club via our website which is available at:https://www.dshc.org.uk/
(use the 'Join' link at the top right of the page)

  • Your attendance at training and playing in matches will be recorded and kept for 21 days to comply with Government Track & Trace requirements.

3) Register your profile on the NEW England Hockey Game Management System (GMS registration is needed only once) – this will capture your participation in the sport with our club and allows the capts to be able to submit online teamsheets and to assist with other league administration tasks such as goalscorers and cards received during a game.
Link to EH Game Management System - All club players MUST also sign up to England Hockey GMS if they are going to play in competitions organised on GMS (anyone U18 will need a parent/guardian to register first as a non-player and then they can add the dependant who is the player).
